I am trying to send text messages using a connection to clickatell. However, special characters (mainly ü, ä, ö and ß) aren’t properly encoded (e.g. ß turns into üß).
Is there anyone running a similar setup who can tell me how to properly encode the messages?
Thanks!

Hey @arisesac! I checked with our team and it looks like we have an open feature request for supporting special characters. No ETA for if/when you can expect to see this added, but we’ll followup on this thread as soon as we have any updates to share! I have also added your vote for this, which means you’ll receive an email once it’s added. 🙂

I did actually read this article, but it made me assume that Clickatell would just automatically adjust whatever I throw at it, which is apparently not the case.
I might need to contact Clickatell Support though. Do you think the issue is more likely to be on their side?
