Question

Can Looping by Zapier overwrite data in a 500-row Google spreadsheet?

Using Zapier how do I overwrite the entire contents of a google sheets worksheet using data from a separate google sheet spreadsheet?

The source spreadsheet contains more than 500 rows, can loops in Zapier be used to overwrite the data, given its size?

Hi @jpilon

Good question.

Try using this Zap action: GDrive - Replace File

Thank you so much for getting back to me!  This is great!  However, the thing I want to be able to replace is a sheet within a spreadsheet!  “The file to replace” field gives me all the files in my “zapierTest” directory, including the spreadsheet that holds the sheet I want to replace, but no option to select that particular sheet.

If I can solve this, then I got it!  😉

Do you have a solution to select a “Sheet” inside a “Spreadsheet” as the replacement file?

Kind regards,

jpilon

@jpilon

I don’t believe there is currently a GSheet/GDrive Zap action that supports replacing an existing Worksheet within a Spreadsheet.
