Can I integrate Gmail with Slack to receive email alerts in a Slack channel?

Hi Team ,

 

I have an requirement to integrate my gmail with the slack account and  when i get an alert emails to my gmail  i need to get an alert in slack channel . Is this possible ? . Please advice on this .

  1. Trigger: Gmail - New Email Matching Search
  2. Action: Slack - Send Channel Message

Hi @Troy Tessalone  when i was integrating Email with Slack application . In the Message Body i am able to edit the message like From Email :….. and here i am not able to get the from email that i am using an SMTP mail and i am not able to get here and when i copy also i am not able to get the suited results for this any help on this will be appreciated.

SMTP is for sending Email.

IMAP is for receiving Email.

Can i get an sample ZAP that has been created by you  or i can provide the zap that i have created and you can have a look and  correct if anything is wrong in the ZAP .
