Hi everyone,
I’m new to HubSpot and trying to set up an automation where a new deal is automatically created when a contact’s lifecycle stage changes (e.g., from Lead to Opportunity).

I’m currently using the free HubSpot CRM and exploring Zapier as a workaround since I don’t have access to custom workflows.

Is it possible to trigger a Zap when the lifecycle stage changes?
If yes, how can I set it up to automatically create a deal that’s associated with the contact, ideally in a specific pipeline and deal stage?

Any advice or examples would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Use these Zap steps:

  1. Trigger: HubSpot - New Contact Property Change
    1. Or try: HubSpot - New Contact in List
  2. Action: HubSpot - Create Deal
  3. Action: HubSpot - Create Associations
    1. Associate the Contact ID to the Deal ID
