Can Amazon Alexa app be triggered to manage IoT devices?

Hello,

I think the answer is 'no', but can Amazon-Alexa be triggered by another Zapier app to manage IoT devices? For example, can it be triggered to control temperature settings, turn off/on lights, etc?  

 

It looks like that this integration is for triggering other apps and cannot be used for home automation, correct?

Amazon Alexa Trigger: https://zapier.com/apps/amazon-alexa/integrations#triggers-and-actions

Otherwise you can look into IFTTT.
