Is there a way to allow a non-Zapier user to create a connection in Zapier?

Imagine my company has an “automation guru.” I’m responsible for managing all the automation inside the company. I have a user named Brenda who wants an automation that connects to her email and does X. Is there some way I can allow Brenda to manage her own email connection so that I do not need to have her password in order to build this automation for her? She’s not technically savvy and has no desire to learn Zapier on top of her other work. She just wants an automation built. I know I can add her as a member in the Team plan and share a template with her, but I’m wondering if there’s an easier way for her. (Like a link I can send her to authorize her email account that then becomes a connection inside of Zapier.)

But is that the only way? I’d think with the interfaces and whatnot, it should be possible to allow a user to add a connection without forcing them to also build/manage a Zap. 

 

I realize it’s a niche scenario, but thought I would ask!

The user would somehow need access to the Zapier account to be able to connect an app account here: https://zapier.com/app/connections

 

Plus, what if the user wants to revoke access, they would need to be able to managed the connection in Zapier.

I 100% agree! They would need to be able to terminate the connection. I was hoping there was a way to do that without them needing to have access to anything else. Like a new kind of user -- a connection user! I’m imagining a flow like this:

Automation Guru needs to create a flow for Mary which uses her Gmail and Google Sheets accounts. I could go in and request connection credentials from user Mary for those two apps. Zapier generates a link that Mary can go to in order to provide authentication for the requested applications (similar to how OAuth works). She could then be notified anytime her connection is used in a Zap and, by visiting a link, revoke those credentials at any time!
