Beside “New Missed Call” trigger not available – how can I enable it?

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to use the Beside integration in Zapier and noticed that the Missed Call trigger doesn't appear in my available trigger events.

According to Beside's, "New Missed Call" should be supported as a Zapier trigger, but it's not showing up in my account. I've already reconnected the app and refreshed the integration, but the option is still missing.

Has anyone experienced this issue or knows how to enable the Missed Call trigger? Is it a feature that's only available for certain accounts, mobile setup, or is there another step I'm missing?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi @WFSIntl, welcome to the Community! 😁

You're right, I can't see a "New Missed Call" trigger available either. There is a Call trigger though, so might be worth seeing if it can pull in a recent missed call as a test record to see what data it returns. Looking at Beside's API documentation there's an Outcome field available for calls but it's not clear if that field would include an outcome value that would indicate whether it's a missed call. If it does, you could then use a Filter step to only allow the Zap to continue for missed calls.

Let us know what you find and we can go from there!

Hi @SamB,

I tested it, and it don’t receive records if its missed in the call trigger. I also tried the Call trigger but its not receiving records from Beside. Its also a bit confusing. The Outbound and Inbound is confusing when its received in the Call trigger.

Hi @WFSIntl

Most Zap app integrations are created and managed by the app developer (not Zapier) using the Zapier Developer Platform, so try reaching out to Beside Support for help using their app and Zap app integration.

Does Beside have an API?

Beside does not offer a public API at this time.
Zapier is the recommended way to automate workflows and connect Beside with other tools.
If you need a custom integration, you can use Zapier's webhooks to send data to and from Beside programmatically.
