  • Automating PDF File Sharing from Salesforce to Sharefile using Zapier or Python.

I want to upload a PDF file that is stored in Salesforce to Sharefile, and then create a Sharefile link for the uploaded file. While I am aware that I can use the Share button in Sharefile to share the PDF, I would like to automate this process. Is there a workaround, such as using code, via Zapier or Python?

To ensure we’re on the same page, do you want to pull the file from Salesforce and then upload it to Citrix Sharefile?

If so, unfortunately, Salesforce doesn’t have a trigger to pull up files. Although Citrix Sharefile has an action step, “Upload File,” there’s also no option to generate a shareable like.

Otherwise, let me know so I can check for other options.
