I need to do the following:

  • send a message to a contact  on Linkedin ( 1st order contact). The message will be fixed, except for penholder for name , that should be picked from profile. There is attachment that should be sent too ( can be a link also ).
  • when message is sent, copy of the message should also be sent to the same profile’s contact email, through outlook on my system .  ( Linkedin allows this manually by “Share through email”).I am stuck at not able to get Linkedin ID from profile.

Any help? I am doing this for the first time, so apologies for any ignorance.

Currently, it’s not possible to send messages in LinkedIn via Zapier. Here’s the available action steps for LinkedIn:
