A quick synopsis of the situation. We have a website that uses subscription based products. We assigned tags to legacy customers who have been subscribed with us for an extended period of time. Those customers have the tag “Legacy Subscriber” in Shopify. We use the app Recharge to manage their subscriptions. We have an automatic discount for free shipping for all customers with the Legacy Subscriber tag. This discount currently works if customers check out through our Shopify Checkout. It does not apply to Recurring Orders coming from Recharge platform. 

I want to use Zapier workflow to see when an Recharge Order is created (trigger), to the then see if the customer has the tag “Legacy Subscriber”, and order total exceeds $34.99 to then apply the discount “LEGACY_FREESHIP”. Is this possible in the Zapier application?

So we can best advise on the workflow here, I do have one quick question. 

  • On the ReCharge side, If you were to manually set the “LEGACY_FREESHIP” Discount, how would you set this there manually?

Let me know on that, and once we have that part of the process outlined, we can better advise on how this would possibly be set.
