Hi,

We are researching into building Zaps using AI and have come across these two articles:

We can create a Zap workflow fairly easily by saying, “Use app XYZ as the trigger and ABC as the event, then send data to app DEF using event QRX.” That helps to specify the apps and events needed throughout the Zap workflow to AI.

We want to know if we can go a step further with this and define how to populate the fields in the trigger/action setup. When sending requests to Copilot we were unable to do so but is there an example if this is possible or is it not possible yet but potentially in the future it will be?

Hi @Arment

There is a beta feature to use AI to generate field mappings between steps.

Hi @Troy Tessalone,

This is just an example, the generate values doesn’t provide suggestions for the Zapier Interfaces trigger and there is no input box like the copilot where I can offer it instructions as it’s just a one-click button.

Does Generate values only work for actions or are there examples of it working on triggers? Does Zapier have documentation for Generate values?

We are looking to do a presentation to demo Zap Creation AI capabilities so any information that can be provided helps.
