I published a new zap, when click if I want to transfer existing data, I selected transfer existing data… then the web directed me to zapier staging log-in page instead.

Anyone has experienced the same? My zap is connecting Notion with Google Calendar.

Thank you

Hi @hihi

Good question.

Try going to Transfer by Zapier: https://zapier.com/app/transfers

Probably best to report that to Zapier Support via a ticket here: https://zapier.com/app/get-help

Thank you.

Ya, I better report a ticket.

Notion is not available in “Transfer” function by Zapier. :(

Hey @hihi! It looks like you were able to reach out to our support team and my colleague Paulo got back to with an answer. I’m going to paste it here for anyone who is following along:

Ohhh I've taken a look here and Notion is not one of the supported apps as transfer source: https://zapier.com/help/create/other-functions/which-apps-does-transfer-support

Not sure why the "Transfer Existing Data" option appeared in the Zap where Notion was set as trigger. If you can send me a screenshot of where it's appearing it would be great.

At the moment, Zaps are only built to look at new and incoming information, and won't process existing data. You can read a bit more about this here:
https://zapier.com/help/create/basics/why-isnt-my-zap-triggering-on-existing-records

This means that data created before the Zap is turned on won't be pulled in automatically. Only when using transfer and we support some limited apps as transfer source here.

That said, if you're able to export that data as a spreadsheet or CSV file, you may be able to "import" them using a separate Zap. This guide has some great visual references for getting that workaround set up:
