I have a very simple Zap setup to pull data from a Google Calendar event and adds a row to an existing Google Sheet populating:

Name

Date

Description

The zap is creating new rows of data above the column header rows. It seems like a pretty simple fix, but for the life of me, I cannot figure out why? I would like the new row to be created underneath existing data.

Do you happen to have column A blank? There is a known bug where if the first column is left blank it writes the row about the headers, instead of below existing rows.

If that’s not it, it’s best to reach out to Zapier support. You can open a ticket here: https://zapier.com/app/contact-us
