Hi Zapier Community,
I recently had the chance to chat with Bryce Vernon from Zapier, and I wanted to share some feedback that could help further enhance our experience as Zapier users. Here are some suggestions for new features and resources I think would add a lot of value:
Process-Specific Deep Dive Tutorials: While there are great resources available, adding specialized tutorials for industry-specific processes (like complex B2B sales funnels, tailored lead-scoring techniques, or niche recruitment automations) could help users maximize the value of Zapier in their specific fields. Diving into unique processes like these could encourage broader and more creative applications of Zapier.
Guided Customization on Shareable Zaps: It would be amazing if shareable Zap templates came with a built-in guided customization feature. This feature could walk users through adjusting template settings step-by-step, offering industry-specific tips or prompts along the way. For instance, a CRM template could include prompts to define key customer stages or guide the selection of custom fields, making complex setups far more intuitive.
Zapier-AI Integration Showcases: A series of webinars or articles focused on real-world AI and Zapier use cases would be extremely valuable. For example, showcasing how different AI tools can optimize processes like customer segmentation, data analysis, and sentiment-based outreach could help users envision practical ways to incorporate AI into their own workflows.
Enhanced Zapier Community Hub: A centralized hub that offers customizable content based on user experience level could be a game-changer. Beginners could access foundational resources, while advanced users would see updates on new integrations, more complex use cases, and even technical troubleshooting resources. Segmenting content in this way could provide a more tailored user experience. Developing a collaborative forum or community space—something akin to a cross between Stack Overflow and GitHub—could foster more in-depth project sharing and troubleshooting. For example, users could co-create, share, and refine Zaps, or work together on advanced use cases. Having a place for real-time feedback and a structured space for community contributions would create a dynamic learning environment.
Thank you for the chance to share my thoughts, and I look forward to seeing what Zapier has in store!
Best,
Juan Pablo Rojas
