I’m trying to launch my first integration, and my learning experiments are piling up.

I’ve tried deleting integrations and deleting versions in the UI and the CLI, but I just get tell-it-to-the-hand error messages. “Unable to delete app!”

The CLI has also told me I can’t delete the app until I deprecate the versions, but when I try to do that it demands a two-week lead time, apparently to notify the non-existent users.

How do I garbage collect my integrations list?

Hi @Jim K,

Welcome to the Community.

Deleting an app in Zapier can be complex, especially with deprecated versions. First, deprecate the versions you want to remove, ignoring the two-week lead time if no active users exist. Ensure no live Zaps are using those versions before deleting them. Once all versions are removed, you can delete the app. If issues persist, provide error details for further investigation.

If you have other questions or need assistance, please feel free to ask.

Thanks @JammerS

What do you mean “ignoring the two-week lead time”?  When I deprecate the version it demands an effective date at least two weeks out.  I was able to set version 1.0.1 to be deprecated April 13th.  Now it’s in some pending state where I still can’t delete it, can’t undeprecate it, and can’t reschedule it.

Meanwhile version 1.0.0 doesn’t give me a deprecate menu option at all.  The menu suggests I can delete it, but when I try I just get another failed-to-delete message.

I would be happy to provide more error details, but this is all I’ve seen.  Am I missing some place that might have more details?

Hi @Jim K,

Zapier's two-week lead time for deprecation allows users to transition to a new version. The base version (1.0.0) can't be deprecated, and older versions can't be deleted if active Zaps still use them. If you can't deprecate, delete, or reschedule, try clearing your cache or using a different browser. If the issue persists, check for active Zaps or provide an error screenshot for further troubleshooting.

If you continue to encounter these issues, please contact our Zapier Support team, providing as much detail as possible, including any error messages and screenshots. They will be able to assist you further.
