Question

Two-way sync between Google Sheets and Shopify for blog posts

I am looking for a solution that allows blog synchronization, where blog posts are automatically synced from Google Sheets to Shopify. Any updates made in the Google Sheet, including new posts, edits, and deletions, should be reflected in the Shopify blog accordingly.

 

Normally i will use the google sheet to shopify. However i also need if update the post including new posts, edits, and deletions, also will affect the google sheet

It is two way sync

While I am unable to determine your use case without any further information, it sounds like the integration you described will cause a Zap loop.

New or Updated Sheet Rows trigger is an instant trigger and you may need a FIlter/Paths/Delay step to avoid a Zap loop. More info is found here: Zap is stuck in a loop

Hi, I’m interested in subscribing to Zapier. However, I’m specifically looking for integration between Google Sheets and WordPress or Shopify. For now, I’d like to focus on WordPress.

My requirement is that any updates made in Google Sheets—including edits, deletions, or additions—should automatically sync with WordPress blog posts. Likewise, any updates made to WordPress blog posts—including edits, deletions, or additions—should also sync back to Google Sheets.

Could you confirm if this is possible?

Hey ​@zaoyao , both integrations are possible on the Zapier platform.

You can use the New or Updated Spreadsheet Row trigger with Google Sheets, and the Update Post action with Wordpress. All available actions and triggers are found on this page: https://zapier.com/apps/google-sheets/integrations/wordpress/3150/create-wordpress-posts-from-new-google-sheets-rows
