Subscription required for creating custom integrations with custom triggers

Hello,

I am a new user currently on the basic free plan and I am wondering which subscription level would allow me to develop some custom integrations.

I built a nodejs app which I host in github and trigger on an aws ec2 cloud instance.

I would like to develop integration with google sheet and google drive so that I can provide custom input to my app directly from the spreadsheet, and direct the output from the aws ec2 into google drive.

I was looking at this help article:

https://platform.zapier.com/docs/triggers

I do not have this UI available currently under the FREE subscription and so I cannot create custom triggers.

Whenever I go to create a ZAP, the options available for me for triggers are already pre-populated.

For example, if I want to trigger a file change on github whenever a field changes in a google sheet, I cannot do so, because the triggers and actions are limited:

Which subscription do I need?

Is it the Starter, Professional, Team…?

Hi @kuato2020! If you’d like to create your own integration for Zapier (so you can create your own triggers and actions for GitHub, for example), then you need to use the developer Platform, which you can find here: https://zapier.com/platform

It’s free to use, so you don’t need to change your plan to create your own integration. I hope that's clear, please let me know if you have any questions!

Hi @kuato2020! , not sure if you have mastered Visual Builder.  If not, I recommend this training course: https://www.udemy.com/course/zapier-visual-builder/
