SMS By Zapier Phone Numbers

Can you elaborate more about the use case this applies to for us to have more context?

You don’t have full control of the From Phone #.

On the list of phone numbers on the "From" field there's about 13 phone numbers to choose from. Let's say I create 13 zaps using "SMS By Zapier" and on those 13 zaps I choose each one of the numbers, on my 14th zap I create another one still using sms by zapier but I want to use a different number that I haven't used before, what would happen to that list, would it show "Random" since all 13 numbers are used, or will it show a different set of 13 numbers?

Those available From phone numbers are shared across Zapier accounts to send out SMS.

Keep in mind, there are limitations to using the SMS by Zapier Zap app: https://zapier.com/apps/sms/help

Will attempt to send from this number, falling back to a random number if no longer available or unspecified.

If you want to use your own From phone number, then you would need to use an SMS app such as Twilio or one in this list: https://zapier.com/apps/categories/phone

I guess it would still show the same numbers because using it on a different zap wouldn’t exactly clear it from the list. I was just wondering if there’s a way to get more static numbers other than the 13 that is provided.

To get static phone numbers, you would need to use your own phone numbers.
