Question

Can I charge clients for Zapier automation services?

Hello all,

I am new to the world of automation and Zapier.

I did some research about this service and have a few questions.

In the Terms of Service (ToS) it is stated that you, “...will not and will not permit anyone else to: (i) sell, sublicense, distribute, transfer, or rent the Service (in whole or part), grant non-users access to the Service or use the Service to provide a hosted or managed service to others...”

This I understand essentially saying you cannot go around charging people to use YOUR account for THEIR service needs.

However, I understand this would not limit a business from subscribing to THEIR own plan on THEIR own account and have a consultant, technician, etc. access their zaps and tables and whatever else, provided that the consultant were a user with business’s explicit permission to modify and administer the automation(s).

Provided that I had my own account, making me a user, could I be that person that could modify their automation(s) and charge them for my expertise and time?

I appreciate any advice.

Thank you.

Hi @klgarman00

Clients should have their own Zapier accounts.

You can charge clients for your service of configuring Zaps in their Zapier Accounts.
