How to allow mixed authentication types?

I’m working for a company that supports both types of authentication methods to users: Basic Auth and SSO. Is there a guide to create an integration that the authenciation can support both? Basically having the auth completed done on our website including the forms, so Zapier doesn't collect any username and password or api keys from the user on the start.

I see this is done on some of the Zapier apps, such as the Salesforce premium.  Is there a guide for this?
