Send a transactional email in Klaviyo from Webhook info in Zapier

Hello all! I’m looking to create and send an automatic email through Klaviyo based on API data using web hooks and Zapier. I’m guessing this can be done within Klaviyo flows, but under “Metric” there isn’t a way to specify “on data push” or anything. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi @worldwide12

Good question.

If you use the Zap action: Klaviyo - Create Event (for a specific Metric), then in the Klaviyo Flow specify the desired Metric.

You can use a Metric that would only correspond to data coming from a Zap.

Or you can add Trigger Filters or Flow Filters.

I’m trying to create a custom metric, but it keeps throwing an error. It won’t even let me specify one, but as soon as I click one of the pre-made ones it works perfectly.

@Troy Tessalone  Here is the actual metric I’m trying to make. Any help or insights is much appreciated.

This variable needs to be remapped.

The black ! means that variable comes from a Zap step that no longer exists in the Zap.

Also the mapped variable has no value, thus contributing to the Zap error.
