We are selling our SAAS through stripe, but the original domain is hosted through shopify, so our facebook pixel follows customer from Ad to domain, but then loses them when they click to begin their trial of the product which takes them to a checkout page on stripe.
Our goal is that when a person becomes a “new subscriber” in stripe, which means they completed the checkout process and are given a 7 day free trial, this should report a “leads event” in facebook. And if or once that person is successfully billed and payment completed after the trial, that should trigger a “purchase event” in facebook.

Data Sources - Events: are showing purchases and leads, however they are not visible in ads manager, so we do not have any clarity which campaign, ad set and ad the lead/purchase came from. Also the number of leads and purchases is not accurate in facebook events.
