When using webhooks within Zapier, you may need to use a Secret Key or Bearer token.
How should you manage this if you don't want other users in your company to know about it, or if you don't want to leave information in Zapier itself?
thanks

Hi
That would likely involve creating a custom integration using the Zapier Developer Platform.

Sorry, but being this is 2025, providing a secure way to store secrets and use them in your zaps seems like a basic feature. What we need is a feature in Zapier that allows us to enter a value that is encrypted within the Zapier ecosystem. When referenced, Zapier decrypts this value and returns it to your zap… This really is a basic security best practice. I had started looking into Zapier for some advanced automation but aborted that venture because I found myself having to put credentials pretty much in clear text out there.
