Summarizing files sent in slack using ChatGPT assistant

I’m trying to have an automation that starts off when a user uploads a file into a specific slack channel. From this, I would like to pull the file from the input and send that over to a specific GPT assistant to help extract the relevant information from the document in relation to its task. I’m not the owner and admin of the workspace and ahve enabled public file sharing.Are there any workarounds that you helpful folks know of?[Here are some screenshots of the workflow and some more details surrounding the exact problem within the file upload]Also not sure which field i should be using from slack - think i have tried them all

How do I embed Zapier and test the OAuth flow locally? I don’t want to create an Integration.

I’m building a SaaS app that will provide AI agents. I want to connect my AI agents with Zapier AI Actions so that the agents can perform actions, such as book an event in Google Calendar.I was going to implement the OAuth flow and test it locally, bit it requires an App Client Id which can only be obtained after publishing the app.This seems a bit counterintuitive – how can I publish the app without even testing it locally?Now, to publish the app (i.e., Integration) I need 3 users with live Zaps, etc. This is also confusing because I don’t even want to create an Integration. That is, I don’t want users of Zapier to call my APIs. I want my end customers to use Zapier via my app.It seems like there’s no way to “embed” Zapier without creating an Integration first? Why is that? Is Zapier not the right fit for my needs?

Issue with Preview Link Execution and Data Transmission to GPT

I’m currently using Zapier AI Actions to integrate Google Sheets with GPT, and while most of the setup works well, I’ve encountered an issue when using the preview link feature. Here’s the situation:I’ve set up an AI Action in Zapier to retrieve and update data from Google Sheets. When the preview mode is disabled, the workflow executes perfectly, and GPT receives the expected results. However, when I use the preview link to manually review and execute the action, the results are not transmitted back to GPT.It seems like the manual execution from the preview link does not trigger the necessary data flow back to Zapier AI Actions or GPT.I would greatly appreciate it if someone could explain why this issue occurs and guide me on how to resolve it effectively.

Make GPTs see all upcoming Calendar events

I'm in the process of creating a GPTs schedule assistant. Thanks to :https://actions.zapier.com/docs/platform/gpt/https://actions.zapier.com/gpt/actions/I've managed to get my GPT to create events, find particular events and edit them. However, I can't get GPT to find all the events in a given time range. Is this even possible? I guess it works with the “Find multiply events” action. I've configured it as shown in the image. Can you tell if my configuration is wrong? If the action is wrong? Or if it's simply not possible to request several events at once?

400 Error on Zapier NLA code that was previously working

I am experiencing a failure of Zapier NLA API integration code that was previously working with the error message as follows: 400 Client Error: Bad Request for url: https://zapier.com/api/v4/implementations/needs/. I am trying to do a Simple Gmail send email and have verified that my permissions are set correctly for Gmail as this software previously worked. I also double checked that my API key is correct. For reference I am calling the following endpoint: https://nla.zapier.com/api/v1/dynamic/exposed/7fad00f9-b468-4640-b4ec-736d9f114628/execute/. This is from a Python Implementation using the requests library do do a simple API communication. I also don’t see any record of the actions being called in my API logs dashboard on Zapier.

ChatGPT OAuth state invalid why trying to connect zapier actions

Whenever I try to configure a action by clicking: https://actions.zapier.com/gpt/actions/ and giving OpenAI access to Zapier, it goes back to ChatGPT and displayed “OAuth state invalid or not found” then after GPT proceeds to tell me there are no Zapier actions connected even though I know I made sure they are turned on;. I have loaded the schema and done everything asked for in the tutorial. I’ve deleted my cookies, tried microsoft edge and Firefox, nothing seems to work. Is there any way to display 'Action setup window' inside an iframe?

NLA, Langchain and Google sheets

I am working on an AI project with Langchain, a platform that allows me to use large language models (LLMs) for various tasks. I have connected my Langchain project with the Zapier NLA API, which is supposed to enable me to integrate different apps and services with natural language commands. I have written some Python code to run my project, but it does not seem to work properly. The code should send some data from my project to a new row in a Google sheet, but when I check the sheet, nothing has changed. I don't know why this is happening, and I can't find any helpful tutorials on the Langchain website. The tutorials are only for basic use cases, but I need to use AutoGPT, a custom agent that uses long-term memory and a prompt for independent work. I have tried contacting Zapier support, but they are very slow to reply. Does anyone have any experience with using Zapier and Langchain together with AutoGPT? I would appreciate any advice or guidance. Thank you.

Zapier NLA Google Calendar API (LangChain) doesn't work

NLA rate limits

Hello,I want to use the NLA API. I am testing them, so I know how reliable they are. However, after about 10 or so queries, I am inevitably met with {error: rate limit exceeded...}. Is this rate limit per action or for the whole of the NLA API? Where is that rate limit described? I couldn’t find it anywhere in the docs. Is there a way to increase this rate limit? Do unsuccessful queries count toward the rate limit? I’m asking because I currently, if I hit the rate limit, I try a few more times. If this counts toward the rate limit, it’s a bit counterproductive to do this.

How do I find events by time, not by name using NLA API?

Hello,I want to find events using the NLA API.I want, if I receive an email, and if it appropriate, to automatically book an event. However, I do not want to book an event when there is already an event then. How do I find events in my and other people of the same organisation’s calendar?If I query the NLA API like so: “Find me the weekly sprint planning event”, it finds it no problem. However, if I query “Find me all events until the end of the week”, or even “Find me the event tomorrow at 11AM”, it find nothing. EDIT: I found an ugly, ugly hack. I guess Zapier, behind the scenes, is creating a “search term”, based on your query, and if you put a search term “*”, it matches everything. So you can query for “Find the events this week with search term *”. This is very ugly and depends on something Zapier has not exposed publicly, so it may change at any point.

I have been testing the Zapier NLA tool with Langchain. I have set up a Slack message as one of my actions, and am using it with a MRKL agent. I am having a problem where if I do not define a value for every field in the setup, but leave some of them for the AI to figure out, I get an error message stating, “Failed to execute action 01H499970A8VJYCQ0YVSRD43TJ with instructions undefined.” When I fill in the fields, it works just fine. Any idea why that might be happening?
