Question

Zoho Sheet to Fastfield Lookup List

I have a spreadsheet in Zoho Sheet with Project information that is updated automatically every time my company wins a new project. We use that same information for Fastfield in a Lookup List so rather than have to pull down the existing list and update it manually every time I would like to automate it where when a line is created or updated, the lookup list is updated.

I have this Zap started:

Everything looks fine on the Zoho side, but then I try and rout e the information into Fastfield and get an error

This is my first Zap so I likely just don’t know what I am doing, but any help would be great.

Hi @recursaved,

Welcome to the Community! 🎉

It looks like the “Update Lookup List” action only accepts file data. Could you please try mapping a file data on the “File” field? You can learn more about sending files via Zap here: https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/8496288813453-Send-files-in-Zaps

I'll be keeping an eye out for your response!

Thank you for the input. Unfortunately, I still can’t figure it out. I added a Dropbox action in the middle of the Zap to upload a file

Then I tried pushing the file by these options: File, Path, Share Link and Direct Media Link. They all gave me the same error as above except the Share Link.

Any ideas? Thank you for being so welcoming!

Hi there @recursaved,

It looks like the issue here is the typed data on the “File” field of the “Upload” Dropbox step. The Dropbox step will only upload the .txt file of the typed data and not the file itself. Could you please try replacing the “Upload” step with the “Find File” step? Once the file has been found, kindly use the file object in the “File” field of the FastField step.

I'll be keeping an eye out for your response!
