I have a google spreadsheet that has multiple sheets within it, each labeled for a doctor. Each spreadsheet has about 30 rows, the top row being column labels and the next 29 rows being empty rows for patient data entry. The point of this spreadsheet is to be able to collect/track patient information. I have set up 4 zaps per spreadsheet. It is set up to send an email to certain people when a selection is made on a drop down menu in 4 columns. My zaps seem to work in the first row, so they are only sending emails when I select the option from the columns I created them for. However, now when I enter in data in any of the other rows, all 4 of the zaps are being triggered at once. I cannot figure out why this is happening

Hi @kmsurg

For us to have more info…

  • Post screenshots showing how your Zap steps are outlined and configured in EDIT mode
  • How the top 3 rows of your GSheet are configured

As an alternative, I’d recommend using Airtable.

Airtable has Views, which are segments of data. (sort, filter, group, show/hide fields, reorder fields)

Airtable Views can be used to trigger Zaps or native Airtable Automations.

Airtable Automations have native integrations with Gmail.
