Question

Zaps don't trigger even though all tests are positive and no errors are shown

I hope someone will be able to resolve this for me…

I have several Zaps running. None of them are triggering anymore. They used to work until earlier today, and I don't know what happened for all of them to stop working.

What is supposed to happen:
1. Notion database update should trigger a zap
2. Zap sends email to the email address specified in the Notion database

Then a follow-up Zap:
1. A response in Tally triggers a zap
2. The response gets added to Notion database within the right field

Everything was working perfectly until a couple of hours ago. Might it have anything to do with the connection to Notion? Even though everything seems to be fine...

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks

Hi @IanAlmonds

Check your Zap Run history for activity/errors: https://zapier.com/app/history/

Check/test/reconnect your Zap app connections here: https://zapier.com/app/connections

Check app status pages for ongoing/recent incidents that may be impacting the Zaps

Make sure you are using the current Zap app versions in the Zap steps.

Hi @IanAlmonds , just checking in – were you able to get your Zaps running again?

If not, could you share:

  • screenshot of your Zap History showing the failed runs (you can find this at zapier.com/app/history)

  • quick description of what you're seeing (e.g., "trigger step shows 'no new records found'" or "test passes but live runs never fire")

That would help narrow down whether it's a Notion permission issue, a property mismatch, or something else.

And if you'd rather just get it sorted quickly, I offer a free 20-min Zapier troubleshooting call. Book it under Resources on my Zapier Directory profile: https://zapier.com/partnerdirectory/automatemybiz!-->

If Zaps are not trigerring, please check your Zap history and possibly share a screenshot of it. There are multiple possibibilities:

  1. Your task limit is reached
  2. An app is not configured correctly and its returning error repeatedly so Zap was turned off automatically
  3. You accidentally switched off the Zap

Just look into the Zap history, you’ll figure it out easily.
