I made a simple zap where a message should be send to a discord channel when a confluence got created or updated in a specific space.

But it seems not to work.

Even when i run the Zap manually it shows two green marks but not entry in the Zap history.

Hi @RUMSamson

Good question.

Zaps work while turned ON for new data going forward.

The Confluence Zap trigger is scheduled meaning it can take from 1-15 minutes to fire depending on your Zapier plan.

Check your Zap Runs: https://zapier.com/app/history/

I changed some pages in the confluence and waited but still nothing happens.

@RUMSamson

Check your Confluence Zap app connection here: https://zapier.com/app/connections

You can try opening a ticket with Zapier Support: https://zapier.com/app/get-help

There are both connections.

I gave the discord bot not all rights because he don't need to manage member or be administrator. Could that be a problem?

The test message came through to the discord Channel so I think the rights should not be the problem

Hi @RUMSamson,

I’m jumping in to see if I can help!

You mentioned that:

I changed some pages in the confluence and waited but still nothing happens.

The “New Page or Blog Post” trigger looks for newly created page or blog post. Could you please try creating a new page or blog post in Confluence Cloud to see if it’ll trigger the Zap?

Please keep us posted! 😊

Hey,

A friend created a new page and we got the Update in our discord Channel.

Maybe the placeholder text is a little bit misleading then.

Is it possible to get updates when a page is being updated?

Hi @RUMSamson,

The trigger you would need is the “Updated Page” trigger for Confluence Cloud. We have an existing feature request for that exact functionality. I have added you as another interested member to the feature request. That does a few things:

  • Bring this to the attention of the integration developers
  • Help track interest in this feature being implemented
  • Allows us to notify you via email if this feature becomes available in the future

While I don't have an ETA on when this feature might be implemented, we will notify you via email if it is!

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
