We’ve been using Zapier’s URL shortener for a long time to squish down a URL to be sent out in an email. Now these emails are going to the junk folder (at least in Outlook)! I did a series of tests and only emails with zpr.io get sent to junk.
My guess is that someone was using this tool and sending out spammy emails, those were getting marked as spam, and now email providers don’t trust any emails containing zpr.io
Has anyone else been experiencing this?
If this is true, this is a PSA and it would be great if Zapier could provide an alternative or customizable URL shortener.
For my case it’s alright, I’m just going to wipe all URL shorteners from my Zaps that have emails and just have long, but trustworthy URLs.
