I’m working in wordpress.
I’m now, via Zapier, trying to connect WP forms to The events calendar. It works fine, the event is created in the calendar. Except when I try to also transfer the vendor name.
What is the expected format for the "vendor" field?

Thanks, but that’s where I started. A connection between WP forms and The event calendar. It works and is running right now, but the the venue cannot be transferred to the calendar. Thats why I tried with Zapier.

Check the source data to confirm that it contains the expected venue information and that it matches the format required by The Events Calendar API.
I think can assign an existing venue by specifying the Venue ID.
In your WordPress account try to find the ID associated with Venues.
Hover over the desired venue and note the ID displayed in the URL or listed details.

Thank you, I have tried that and that works. The problem is, that I want to make it possible for a new Venue to put an event in my calendar. Showing the venues name and maybe adress.
A venue/place that is not already in my Wordpress Events Calendar. Hm...
PS. It’s not necessary (but a plus!) to export/import the new venues Adress, just the Name would be a god start!!

I doubt that’s possible. The integration doesn't support creating standalone venue entries, the venue information will be associated directly with each event.
I’d recommend using a form-building tool to create a submission form for venues and then setup your workflow, it’s a workaround that should do the job.
