Zapier task limits: How to prevent them from being exceeded

Hello,

Does anyone know of a way to stop zapier runaway zaps before they max out our task limits?   We just had a zap which looped for some reason and created 10,000 tasks, which obviously blew away our limit.  Is there a way to prevent this in the future, like if it's more than 20 tasks in 2 minutes or something it will stop?

Hi @Centripetal

Good question.

Sounds like you encountered an infinite loop with the Zaps.

Zapier has some controls for rate limits and flood protection: https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/8496181445261#flood-protection-and-held-items-0-2

You’d have to configure the Zaps to log Tasks, which will only use more Tasks.
