I am testing out the tool to help two organizations communicate (one uses Teams the other Slack and no one wants to change). I have been able to make it push from Slack with no problems, but when it pushes from Teams it is sending its own messages posted from Slack. What is the best way to prevent this?

Good question.

Zaps aren’t meant for 2-ways data syncs between apps.

There would have to be some sort of unique ID added to each message to indicate if the message came from Slack/Teams.

 

Then you could possibly Filter on that value.
