I have a WordPress website that contains a form. Whenever someone fills out this form, it sends the information via webhook to Zapier, but sometimes it doesn't send anything…
Successful example:In this case, the data came in the date out tab

Failure example:In this case, the data did not come via webhook, and because the data did not come, the record in active campaigning was not created

can you help me?

Hi @fabio umpierre

Add a Zap step that is a Filter: https://zapier.com/apps/filter/help

Check that the data returned from the webhook exists for fields that are mapped to the ActiveCampaign Zap step.

@Troy Tessalone hello!

first thanks for respondingIn this case, would the filter be so as not to cause problems when trying to save in active campaigning?OK.But my problem is that sometimes the webhook comes up empty, and I don't know why.Ask several people to fill it out and it always works. I don't know why sometimes the data doesn't come via webhook

@fabio umpierre

The Zap Filter step is to prevent errors with the ActiveCampaign Zap step.

That prevents potential Zap Run errors if the Zap is triggered but the webhook payload data is empty.

As to why, the Zap is triggered with an empty webhook payload, that could be due to…

  • manual testing
  • an exposed webhook url
  • bots trying to submit forms

@Troy Tessalone thanks, i will try get the error
