Hello )

I have created a Zap Instagram to RSS.
Everything is connected, tested, etc.
For some reason, once I created my new Instagram post - nothing happened to my RSS Feed.
The Triger is “New Media Posted in My Account”
No error shown at all.

Thx!

Hi @Olga Chub

Good question.

The Instagram trigger is scheduled meaning it can take from 1-15 minutes to fire depending on your Zapier plans.

Try checking your Zap Runs for activity: https://zapier.com/app/history/

Hello Troy )

This was the first thing I actually did...
The History shows “No results found” for both, Tasks and Runs.

@Olga Chub

Which Instagram Zap app are you using?

@Troy Tessalone It is the basic one, the very first!

@Olga Chub

Have you reviewed the available help articles for using Instagram in Zaps?

https://zapier.com/apps/instagram/help

@Troy Tessalone Yes, sure. And it seems that everything is set up properly.

@Olga Chub

Check your Instagram connection here: https://zapier.com/app/connections

You can try reconnecting your IG account to Zapier using a new/different private browser.

@Troy Tessalone So, published a new one and got the next error:
RSS item too large - must be smaller than 10240 bytes
Isn't it a very strange limitation? For the single post only.

@Olga Chub

Can you post a screenshot of the error?

@Troy Tessalone  Sure, here it is

@Olga Chub

Help articles for using RSS in Zaps: https://zapier.com/apps/rss/help

Data Size Limit on Content Field in "Create Item in Feed"

Zapier can only handle about 10kb of data in the Content field for the action "Create Item in Feed".
If your data exceeds the 10kb limit, the task will error out.
We've added a field to control what should happen in this case, you can set it to automatically truncate the data, or not truncate it and instead throw an error and stop the Zap.

@Troy Tessalone  I got it, thx a lot.
I just wonder, why? It seems to be totally useless in this case.

@Olga Chub

It may be due to the encoding and/or emojis.
