I have a zap that is set to create an email draft when an excel row is updated. Currently. I am experiencing the issue that when I update the excel row, the email draft is not triggered correctly and does not come through. However, if I go to the zap and select “run”, it processed through all updates test (not just 1 but any of the updates I have made to multiple rows). It appears to be communicating correctly which rows are updated and storing them, but not automatically triggering them.

I have attempted to turn the zap on and office, log in and log out of all applications and even delete and recreate the zap and I continue to have this problem regardless. I have tested on brand new and existing rows all to the same problem. Any solutions? Tis zap was working fine a few days ago when I was testing it.

Hi @bbcolema

The Excel Zap app triggers are scheduled, which can take from 1-15 minutes to fire depending on your Zapier plan.

Free Zapier plans have a 15 minute check interval for new data.

Check your Zap Runs history for activity and to see timestamps along with the DATA IN/OUT for each step: https://zapier.com/app/history/

Hi @bbcolema,

We just wanted to see how everything is going with your Zap. Did Troy's recommendation get the job done? Feel free to reach out if you need further assistance with your Zap. We're glad to address any concerns and assist you.

We're looking forward to your response.

It did, however I just upgraded my plan from the free plan. Will it now run faster than the 15 minutes?

Hi @bbcolema,

Yes, you're correct. Zapier's trigger frequency depends on your plan: free plans check every 15 minutes, professional is every two minutes, and team and enterprise plan every one minute. These intervals apply to polling triggers, while instant triggers are nearly instantaneous on any plan. Consider upgrading your plan or using a tool with real-time processing for large data volumes or immediate actions.
