Zap turns off automatically if "Schedule by Zap" is set to hourly

I have a Zap I intend to run hourly, scheduled with the App “Schedule by Zapier”. The Zap would turn itself off immediately as soon as it is turned on. (See screenshot)

I can perform test runs successfully with no errors. All my connections are valid and returns correct results. I am on a paid account.

I finally figured out that I can prevent this if I set the trigger frequency from hourly to daily, but I cannot figure out why hourly trigger is invalid in my configuration. Is there a rate limit? I know that other Zaps have been able to run with hourly frequency without issue in my organization.

Thanks for sharing those helpful screenshots @mariawithpersona! The values you’ve got selected looked correct to me so I did some testing in my own Zap and think I may have found the cause of the issue.

When testing I didn’t select anything just left the default settings as they matched yours and I got a “Invalid weekends: True” error. So I suspect that error might what’s causing your Zap to be switched off automatically. When I went back to the Configure section and selected Yes for the Trigger on weekends field and tested again, the error went away:

Can you try selecting Yes for the Trigger on weekends field, then turn the Zap on to see if it then stays switched on?

Keep me posted on how it goes!

Hi and welcome to the Community, @mariawithpersona! 🎉

I’m so sorry to hear that the Zap is turning itself off like that. I think it might be that there’s an issue with the setup of the Schedule by Zapier trigger and that’s causing it to error repeatedly and then automatically switch off. 🤔

Can you share a quick screenshot (with any personal info like names, emails etc. removed) showing how it’s been configured? That’ll help us to check whether there’s anything on the setup there that might be causing some trouble.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Hi Sam, here’s the configuration for the `Schedule by Zapier` step. As well as a screenshot of the entire workflow in case you suspect any subsequent steps could be the culprit. Let me know what other information I can provide!
