I created a simple zap for pulling news from a personal Feedly Board. I run several searches to collect the articles, including a Feedly AI Feed, and specific key word searches. Every morning, I find the most relevant articles in those searches and then post to a Feedly Board. The Zap then pulls from that board. The problem is once the Zap creates the Gmail Email Draft, it labels the “article source” for every article beyond the first one as the AI Feed or the Search Term, not the publication. So every Zap, the first article it pulls has the correct format:

  • Article Title
  • Publication
  • URL

But every article after that it has it:

  • Article Title
  • Search Term I used in Feedly
  • URL

Any thoughts on how to fix this?

Hi @ML2682,

Welcome to the Community.

If your Zap mislabels the source of articles pulled from a Feedly Board, it's likely due to incorrect data mapping in Zap's setup. To fix it, review the action step where the Gmail draft is created and ensure the correct publication field is mapped. Use Feedly's "Test Trigger" to inspect data structure, and consider using Filters or Paths if the structure varies. You can also use Formatter by Zapier to clean up the data before sending it to Gmail. Finally, check for integration updates and test with multiple articles to pinpoint the issue.

Following these steps, you can identify and resolve the issue with the article source labeling in your Gmail drafts. If you have any further questions or need additional help, feel free to ask.
