Zap not seeing Paragraph text fields when pulling from Gravity Forms

I’ve set up a new form in Gravity Forms and am using Zapier to pass the data onto JobTread. All of the fields work correctly, however, I wanted to add a section for custom input, so I added a “Paragraph” field to the form.

When I go into my Zap to the “Customer Notes” field I should be able to set  this to the “Paragraph” field. However, the “Paragraph” field does not show up as an option. It’s as if the field doesn’t exist on the form at all. When the form is submitted, I do see that the text in the “Paragraph” field was captured by Gravity Forms, but it is not passed to Zapier.

How can I pass along this field to Zapier, so it can pass it onto JobTread?

Hey @PremierDBR,

It may be possible that the gravity forms trigger do not get the custom fields data while editing the Zap.

There is a workaround by using previous zap runs as test records. Here is a helpful article about it here- https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/35632951078029-Use-previous-Zap-runs-as-trigger-test-records.

Hope it helps!

Hi @PremierDBR

Make sure to test your Gravity Form again and then pull thru new Zap trigger examples in the TEST tab to use to configure the Zap action steps.
