I have an account created in Zoho CRM and ticket created in Zoho Desk. I want whenever a ticket is created it should also log the address details into Excel. But Zap is not finding the address in Zoho CRM or Zoho Desk step.

Hi @Sid0612

For us to have more info, post screenshots showing how your Zap trigger step is configured along with the DATA OUT from the Zap trigger step.

Hello @Sid0612   This usually happens because the address isn’t being sent in the trigger data.

First, pull in a fresh sample in the Zoho Desk trigger and make sure you’re testing with a ticket that actually has an address filled in. Then check whether the address is on the ticket itself or on the related Zoho CRM contact or account. In many setups it lives on the CRM record.

If it’s on the CRM side, add a Zoho CRM Find Record step after the ticket trigger and pull the address from there. You may also need to click Show all options or refresh fields to see split address fields like street and city.

Hi there @Sid0612 👋

Did drtanvisachar’s suggestion of pulling in a different test record sample do the trick?

If not, I wonder if the Zap could be triggering on the newly created account before the address details have been added yet. In which case, it might be worth adding a Delay For action to the Zap - you’d want to set it to delay the Zap for 1-2 minutes to give enough time for the address details to be added in Zoho CRM. Then, follow that up with a Find Module Entry (Zoho CRM) action to find the account to get the relevant address details.

Keep us posted on how you get on with this 🙂
