Hey everyone,
I’ve set up a Zap that should automatically start a new checklist in CheckFlow whenever a PayPal payment fails.

Here’s the setup:
Trigger: PayPal → BILLING.SUBSCRIPTION.PAYMENT.FAILED
Action: Webhook POST → CheckFlow API (creates a new checklist from a specific template)

The test during setup worked perfectly — the webhook test triggered CheckFlow successfully and created a checklist.
However, since I published the Zap, it has never actually run. There are no runs showing in Zap history, even though there have definitely been failed PayPal payments since then.

So far, I can’t figure out why the Zap never fires.
Could it be that PayPal doesn’t send an event for failed subscription payments, or that there’s some specific setup required on the PayPal side (like IPN or Webhooks manually activated)?

Would really appreciate any ideas or experiences from others who integrated PayPal with Zapier for failed payment triggers 🙏

Thanks in advance!

Try to follow the instructions from article as you also said it might be some issue with IPN not configured properly. Hope it helps!
