I have a zap where I need to upload data to a MySQL database. One field is a datetime field. I used the formatter tool to reformat the datetime into a format that MySQL wants ‘YYYY-MM-DD HH:mm:ss’. The date shows up correctly in the “Data in” side of the zap. However, when it runs, I get an error back for that same field, but it’s now showing extra data at the end. It looks like this '2025-01-28T00:00:00-06:00'

How do I get MySQL to process the datetime in the format that I have input to the zap?

Hey @data_guru 👋 Welcome to the Community!

To better assist you, could you share a screenshot of how the Formatter step is configured? It is possible that the “To Format” field has a different format selected, instead of the one you are looking for.

Let me know that you find.

Hey @data_guru, just checking in! 👋 I saw you also reached out to our Support team about this as well, but I didn’t see a response from you—so I wasn’t sure if you managed to get this solved.

If you did, was the issue due to the selected format in the To Format as Marge mentioned, or was it caused by a timezone difference between your Zapier and MySQL accounts as Support suggested? Or did you find a different solution?

Looking forward to hearing from you!
