I created a Zap triggered by a Squarespace form submission to create a new Slack message in a private channel.  The demo message created by the test looks perfect, but after I published it Slack messages from actual form submissions are formatted incorrectly.  I reviewed the steps and have no idea what’s going wrong.

As shown in the image, the “Name” field is not formatted correctly and it is also adding an extraneous field about marketing.

How the Zap is setup

Hi @franks.117

After testing the SS form, try clicking the Find New Records] button in the Zap trigger step to pull in a live example to then configure the Zap action steps.

If that does not work, then you may have to use custom pill mapping:

When I test a trigger, it doesn't show my data

Squarespace only provides default data for trigger tests.

Hi @Troy Tessalone,

I tried the [Find New Records] button you suggested and this is the result.  Should there be more than one option to pick from?  We just had a new submission tonight (3/3).

Check your Zap Runs history to see the DATA IN/OUT for each step to help you troubleshoot.
