Zap fails updating "Last Contact" in Notion from Wealthbox CRM

Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated : )

This Zap is meant to update an identically titled Client record within Notion and its “Last Contact” field when a “Note” is created within our Wealthbox CRM so that the date of the Wealthbox Note replaces the “Last Contact” field for the same titled Client in our Notion database.

In prior attempts the Zap was replacing the Notion “client name” field with the date from the Wealthbox note date field, which is no longer occurring, but the final step of the Zap is now failing as shown below:

Failed to create a database item in Notion

path failed validation: path.page_id should be a valid

      uuid, instead was `"2024-05-10"`.

Hi @HWG

The Item field expects a Notion Item ID.

Hi @HWG ,

We just wanted to see how everything is going with your Zap. Did Troy's recommendation get the job done? If you need any assistance, feel free to reach out. We're happy to address any concerns and assist you.

We're looking forward to your response.

@Troy Tessalone @JammerS Thank you both.

We eventually determined the following solution by using the “ID” as the “Item” in step 4 and then the “Title” as the Name as @Troy Tessalone Suggested. Fixes highlighted below in case it helps anyone in the future.

Kind regards,
