I am building a Zap where when a new sale comes into ClickBank, it triggers the Zap and creates or updates contacts in GetResponse. Which is filtered to the correct one. The problem is when I tried to test it, nothing happened, the Zap did not even run. But works when I force it as a test. Is this something with the trigger? Can anyone help?

The Zap trigger being used is Scheduled, and will check for new data every 2 minutes based on your Zapier plan.

If there is no Zap Run activity (https://zapier.com/app/history/) after the few minutes, then check these:

  • Zap app connections: https://zapier.com/app/connections
  • The test met the conditions to trigger the Zap
  • There are no current ongoing/recent issues with ClickBank
    • You may have to try asking ClickBank Support for help with their Zap app integration

Is the Zap still failing to trigger on new sales or are were they just a bit slow to appear in the Zap history?

I did some checking and couldn’t see any bug reports where new sales in ClickBank weren’t triggering as expected. So if it’s still failing to trigger then you may be running into a bug. In which case I’d suggest reaching out to our Support team to investigate further. They’ll be able to dig into the logs for your Zap to confirm whether it’s a bug and can open up a bug report if it is.
