Hello,

I’m new to Zapier and until now, everything was working fine with social media integrations. But I’m currently having an issue with YouTube.

I’ve set up a Zap to pull video file from Dropbox, but the video isn’t uploading to YouTube, even though all the steps are followed. I also tried using Google Sheets for multiple files, but although the status in the sheet shows "Upload", the videos still aren’t showing on YouTube.

Can anyone help?

Any advice would be really appreciated!

My Zap does not show real data when I test the Upload Video action.

When you test the YouTube action "Upload Video", the step will not upload the video.
It will return default data so that you can continue setting up the Zap without affecting your channel.

 

For us to have more info, post screenshots showing:

  • how your Zap steps are outlined
  • how your Zap steps are configured in EDIT mode with the field mappings visible
  • screenshots from your live Zap Runs history details showing the DATA IN/OUT for each step

Just came across this and wanted to check how things are progressing. Did Troy’s reply help to get you pointed in the right direction?

If not, we’d be happy to help further. Just send over some screenshots as Troy mentioned and we’ll take a closer look at what might be causing some trouble. Remember to blur/remove any personal information like names, emails, addresses etc. from screenshots first—you can use a tool like Zappy for that.
