Yelp response link not populating in Coda, it shows “No Data”

I’m creating a new row in Coda for each response our team sends to Yelp customers. I have a column that should populate with the link to the message reply, but it’s showing “No Data.” What am I missing?

Hello @Lex Shan

Nothing’s broken.
Link To Reply In Yelp only exists for incoming customer messages. When your team sends a reply, Yelp does not return a reply link — so Make shows “No Data.”

Why:
Yelp only provides reply URLs so businesses can respond to customers, not to their own messages.

What to do:

  • Populate this column only for inbound messages (filter on User Type ≠ BIZ)

  • Or leave it blank for outbound replies

  • Or store a conversation/inbox link instead

Hi @Lex Shan

That means the variable has no value.

Try turning the Zap ON and testing live to see if the variable value is populated.

Check your Zap Run history details to see the DATA IN/OUT for each Zap step: https://zapier.com/app/history/
