I’ve got a fairly complicated Zap that’s processing data from Shopify.

The data is being split by vendor and then creating an invoice for the two vendors that are present.

I have checked the invoices created this morning and one invoice is 100% correct and the other is missing one item.

I can see the item in the zap run and it looks like it’s been processed but then it just hasn’t been written to Xero for some reason but I can’t work out why?

So I can trace the item which is a Ceramic Mug which cost £36 through the zap run:

This is the key one as it looks to me like this was created in the Xero invoice?

But the Xero invoice top is short by £36 compared to the report in Shopify and the Ceramic Mug is the only item missing from the Xero invoice.

@studio-t

It is hard to tell how to help from the information provided, usually the way with really complex zaps.

Looping by zapier is limited to 500 where you have it set to 9999 (https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/8496106701453-Loop-your-Zap-actions#:~:text=Maximum%20number%20of%20loops%3A%20You,one%20path%20in%20a%20Zap.).

It doesn’t appear like it should but are you maxing out on the loops?

The only other thing I thought of that it’s either getting overwritten or excluded due to a filter or by Xero.

Thanks @Badger for responding.

I’ll reset that to 500 but I think the total yesterday was around 80 items so well under the 500 limit.

It’s getting to the final step which is this screenshot, that looks to me like it’s succeeded at writing the line to the invoice? It looks exactly the same as all the other items.

Here’s the route where it’s being filtered sucessfully:

Data in is the ceramic mug and then the data out is the first screenshot.

And it clearly says “sent 1 new item to Xero” which is the Ceramic Mug.

Are there any reasons that Xero would ignore a line item or overwrite it?

I’ve just re-run the Zap and the Ceramic Mug was present and correct so now I’m quite confused!

@studio-t

Isn’t that always the way! 😂

Probably best to monitor for a while. I hope it all works out.
