I’m using a WordPress trigger with the "Updated Post" action to work with a specific custom post type when a post of that type is published. The custom post type appears in the list, but when I test the trigger, it doesn’t work—I’m only receiving data from the default post type. However, when I use the same custom post type with the "New Post" trigger, it works as expected. Could you help me troubleshoot this issue?

Note: I am updating Post Problematically, using wp_update_post hook.

Hey @niralibiniwale-bacancy ,

Sometime Zapier might receive incorrect test data. This is rare but can happen with webhook based triggers. I will suggest to finish building your Zap, switch it ON and than test it.

But without correct data I will be unable to finish building Zap. As I want to update the PassKit membership based on data updated in the custom post type.

Hi @niralibiniwale-bacancy.

Before we dig deeper into this, it looks like the Updated Post trigger is loading an older sample data. Could you please try updating one of your post in WordPress and head back to the trigger step and click on the “Find new records” button once more.

Kindly give it a try and let me know how it goes? I'll keep an eye out for your response!

Hi @ken.a I tried multiple times with updating posts using update button & programmatically but it is not working for Custom Post Type. It is only working for Default WordPress Posts type.
