Hi,

I use my zap to upload a post to wordpress successfully.  Then I need to retrieve the post for another use.  That’s where I run into an error.  The zap is connected to wordpress and all the dynamic fields relating to the post are available for selection.  I select the dyanmic ID (in this case) and run the test and get this response:

Failed to find a post in WordPress

Error from halted execution: Nothing could be found for the search.

I’ve tried running it with every dynamically available option and all of them get the same response.  Changing the value of Mark safely halted to the other option doesn’t produce results either.   I’ve tried reconnecting Wordpress.  Would love some help figuring out what’s up.

Thanks,

Paul

Hi @PMalmont,

Welcome to the Community.

If Zapier isn't retrieving a post from WordPress, check that the search action is correctly set up with a unique search field. Ensure WordPress settings or plugins aren't blocking the API, test the connection by re-adding the account, and consider adding a delay if the post isn't fully published before the Zap runs.

Feel free to ask if you need further help setting this up or have any other questions.
