WordPress authentication failed:No error code

Hello, I encountered the following issue while connecting to WordPress using application passwords: my login shows "Authentication failed:" but there is no error code. I am unable to connect. How should I resolve this?

Hi @stiefu,

 

Welcome to the community. Have you tried reconnecting your new account and turning off plugins? Also, check for updates on your WordPress version to make sure that WordPress is up-to-date. This is to isolate any possible issues with authentication. Let us know if the problem persists.
